FEISTY was an individual project that I completed within my final year at Westminster University. My main passions and interests within the industry are online and lifestyle journalism as well as writing articles on various feminist topics and discussions. This was where my idea for FEISTY came from. On FEISTY you can find articles that are written in a conversational and casual tone. I wanted to create a place where women could go and relate to articles on various topics that are not often seen or spoken about but are what women want to hear.
I know first hand the stigma and judgment that comes with being a feminist. Through my website FEISTY I wanted to help break these barriers and create a feminist/lifestyle website that women could relate to and also enjoy a space where they can be apart of the feminist movement but in a relaxed and uplifting way.

The articles below are all featured on the website 'Voice Of London'. This is a website run by journalism students at Westminster University. In my final year, my class and I had the opportunity of running the site for a period of time. For this project, I was apart of the lifestyle team.

I wrote articles and created various forms of multimedia that was engaging for our target audience and also ensure a flow of content was active on our specific section of the website as well.

My article 'Stacy Gregory: The first woman Able Seaman' that is featured on this website won the best lifestyle article at the Voice of London student website awards 2019-20.
